UFONE Blackberry Commercial Launch Delayed!

Since I already use Mobilink's Blackberry service, a viable alternative was always welcome. Ufone, Pakistan's second largest GSM carrier completed the deployment and testing of Research In Motion's Blackberry service some time ago.

However, the country's security agencies have not given clearance to the Ufone Blackberry because reportedly because of their system's failure to tap into the RIM products encryption.

So next time you recieve email on your Mobilink Blackberry, just remember that Big Brother is watching :-)

It's been a while since I touched Eliptical Curve Cryptography as well as the Cipher Block Chaining Stuff ... not to mention the quest for getting the Initialization Vectors!

Update: As of January 6, 2008, UFone has still not launched its Blackberry service
